The Puy du Fou
At 15 minutes from the Hotel Aloe, come to visit the Puy du Fou, the park that makes dream children and adults since more than 30 years with its spectacular performances. During the day, you can visit the park and finish with the « Fire Organs » (Les Orgues de Feux), an enchanting performance with music and ballet on the water. On Friday and Saturday, you will be impressed by the Cinescenie, a great performance about the story of a local family.
« Le Premier Royaume » : New show in 2019 !
This year you can discover a new performance : « The First Kingdom » (Le Premier Royaume). Let you carry away by Clovis, the young king of the Franks, in the middle of the 5th century AD. The Roman Empire has fallen and Attila the Hun’s hordes have been wreaking havoc all over Europe… Discover the world of the Merovingians and a conquering king caught between the ancestral traditions of his people and his quest to found the first kingdom!

The « Mont des Alouettes »
With its 232 meters, the Mont des Alouettes overlooks the city of Les Herbiers. On the way to Cholet, you can access to this area by car or for the bravest on foot thanks to the walking route.
Its mill and chapel are opened to the public and from June to August you can discover the story of the place with games and different activities during the day but also during the night with the « Nights of my Mill » (Les Nuits de mon Moulin) (only on July and August).

Melusine’s Brewery
Since 2001, the local brewery Melusine suggests artisanal beers 100% natural. From lager to white beer without forgetting the brown beer, each one will find the one he likes the most.
For each curious people, the brewery located in Chambretaud welcomed you for a visit from monday to Friday from 2 pm to 5.30 pm. Only 9 minuts from the hotel ALOE !
Grainetiere Abbey
If you love history and beautiful monuments, the grainetiere Abbey opens its doors for you.
Ranked as an historical monument since 1946, this place accomodates since 1979 a monk congregation. Only at 15 minutes from the hotel ALOE, revitalize yourself during a visit each day of the year.

For children or adults, you will find at the outdoor activities center of la Tricherie called Tepacap in Mesnard-la-Barotière a lot of activities to do with your family.

The Railway of Vendée
During Summer discover local landscapes thank to a promenade into the steam train. During 2h30 it will brink you from Mortagne sur Sèvre to Les Herbiers (return trip) so as to make the most of the local green settings. The Castle of Tiffauges
This medieval castle has been a long time ago occupied by Gilles de Rais. From April to September you can learn it history through medieval shows. Is it also open during winter for a wonderful Christmas Market.
